Alyce S. Kaye

December 22, 1915 — May 15, 2009

Alyce (Sharrock) Kaye aged 93 of Lincoln passed away on Friday, May 17, 2009 at Concord Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Harold Kaye. She was born in East Freetown, MA on December 22, 1915, the daughter of the late Albert G. and Gertrude (Garratt) Sharrock.

Mrs. Kaye attended and graduated from New Bedford High School. She briefly ran a beauty salon at her home on County Road before her marriage and moved to Wakefield, then to Lincoln, where she remained a resident for over 50 years.

Mrs. Kaye's passion was gardening and she developed an independent at-home-nursery specializing in African Violets. She also enjoyed baking, and birding.

She is survived by several nieces and a nephew, and was the sister of the late Edith Gurney, Gertrude Chace and Marion E. Sharrock.
