Ann Louise Greenberg, 76, a long-time Concord resident, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on January 11, 1949, the daughter of the late Nathan Greenberg and Constance Matthews. She was raised and educated in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. She later graduated from Boston University.

Ann worked for many years as an administrative assistant to the Superintendent of the Framingham School Committee. After retirement, she worked part-time as a recreational aide for Bowman Elementary School in Lexington.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening. Ann was an active West Concord Green Thumbs member, volunteering for numerous plant sales, garden walkthroughs, and membership meetings. Her beautiful work can be seen and admired throughout the Concord landscape.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Fatima Bliss of Wynnewood, PA, her brother-in-law, Joe Bliss, and her sister, Jean Varda, from California. She is also survived by her two nieces, Donnarose Garrett of Texas and Zoe Haines of Northern California.

A private burial service was held at the Knoll in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord.
