Barry H. Woodbine age 70 of Littleton passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at his residence following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Barbara J. (MacWilliams) Woodbine.
Born in Arlington on November 9, 1941 he was the son of the late Robert E. and Doris J. (Perry) Woodbine. Raised and educated in Acton, MA. Mr. Woodbine graduated from Acton High School in 1960.
He soon married and enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for several years. Upon his return home he soon settled in Littleton where together with his wife they raised their two children.
Barry was employed for many years as an Offset Printer for Dunn & Company Printers.
Mr. Woodbine was a long time Boy Scout and devoted many years of service and dedication to this valued organization. He achieved numerous medals and awards. He also enjoyed watching sports and keeping with old friends on the computer.
Along with his wife he is survived by his loving children Robert N. Woodbine of Nashua, NH and Sharon Marcotte and her husband Kevin of Richmond, NH. He is also survived by his brother Richard D. Woodbine of Littleton and several nieces and nephews.
Concord's town flag will fly at half-staff on Monday, June 4, 2012 in honor of Mr. Woodbine's service to his country in the United States Army.
