Betty Parks age 92 and long time resident of Belmont passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Westford House Nursing Home in Westford Massachusetts.
Born in Concord on December 19, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Earl H. and Edythe (Wilder) Parks.
Betty was raised on the family farm on Old Bedford Road. She was educated in Concord graduating from Concord High School and went on to graduate from Boston University in 1944.
Betty had a long and distinguished career in advertising. She worked as a writer for Harold Cabot & Company agency in Boston and also went on to work for Massachusetts Financial Services.
During her spare time and retirement Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and she also loved gardening an enjoyed traveling. She was particularly excited about her opportunity to go on a safari during one of her trips to Africa. When stateside she enjoyed going to Cape Cod and in the winter she could be found relaxing on Sanibel Island in Florida.
She is survived by her nephews Wilder Parks, Jr. and his wife Gia of Westford and David Parks and his companion Janet Dickey of Littleton. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, David, Lindsay, Lauren, Wilder III, Ashley, Dustin and Hunter. She was also predeceased by her brother Wilder "Bill" Parks in 2013.

Belmont, MA.
Interment private in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
