Brigid Oliveri Siegel, age 74, of Carlisle, passed away surrounded by her children on March 13th, 2025.
Brigid was born on February 28th, 1951, in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Gifted and determined, she was one of the first female students to attend Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute. After graduation, Brigid worked as an electrical engineer at Honeywell, then in marketing at Wang Laboratories in Lowell. While there she met and married Robert “Bob” Alan Siegel in 1981. They raised their son, Vincent, and twin daughters, Charlotte and Jennie, in Carlisle, taking full advantage of Great Brook Farm State Park, where they loved to walk their dogs, Tanya and Preto. Brigid took a break from the workforce in 1985 after the birth of her daughters to raise her three children. During this time, she was very involved with the Carlisle Schools Association and other volunteer work.
In 1994, Brigid returned to work as an Executive Recruiter in the technology, life sciences, and biotech fields. She had a distinguished career holding positions as a Vice President with Fenwick Partners, a Senior Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, and a Partner at Polachi, and then went on to found Brigid Siegel Associates in 2014. She was a member of the Executive Board of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Venture Forum for seven years, as well as an Executive Board Member and Vice Chair of Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network. Many were touched by her love of community, volunteer work, and mentorship of emerging businesswomen.
Brigid was a beautiful soul, inside and out. For all who came to know her, she radiated warmth and kindness. Above all else, Brigid always proclaimed her greatest joy and happiness came from being a mother. Her children were blessed to be held by her unwavering love. Brigid was predeceased by her father, Vincent Oliveri; mother, Libera Oliveri (Buonocore); her husband, Bob; and her brother, Angelo Oliveri. She is survived by her children Vincent, Charlotte, and Jennie, as well as by her grandson Keenan Landry.
