Bruce M. Bare

Bruce Maurice Bare Jr., age 92, longtime resident of Lincoln, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Renaissance Gardens at Brooksby Village�in Peabody, MA.

Bruce was born to the late Bruce and Pearl Bare on October 19, 1915 in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. He attended Gettysburg College and was graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.�Bruce served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, VII Bomber Command during the Second World War.�He had a long and successful career with W.R. Grace, Atlas Chemical Industries, and Arthur D. Little.

Bruce and his loving wife of over 50 years, Helen, were fortunate to enjoy many memorable trips together. As an avid photographer he enjoyed documenting their travels. He was an active member of St. Anne's In-The-Fields Episcopal Church in Lincoln as a Lay Eucharist Minister.�He was a strong supporter of the Lincoln Town Library.

Bruce is survived by his wife Helen Bare of Peabody, MA; and their shared children, Patricia Mandell of Pembroke, MA, Bruce Bare and his wife Mitzi of Maynard, MA, Carey Bare and his wife Janet of Los Alamos, NM, Dayle Goddard and her husband Ed of Ridgewood, NJ, and Wayne Peterson and his wife Joanne of West Gloucester, MA; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.�He, also leaves his sister, Virginia Bare Francis, of Clinton, NY and the late Martha Anne Bare.
