Caroline M. Greene

Caroline Mae (Santti) Greene age 76 of Sudbury passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Wingate at Sudbury. She was the wife of 56 years to Valton E. Greene.

Born in Newport, New Hampshire on May 3, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Arvo Santti and Flora (Nelson) Santti Haskett.

Mrs. Greene was raised and educated in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1951. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Kimball Lumber in Watertown and later employed at Caldor in Framingham for 20 years. She was also employed by the Lincoln Public Schools until her retirement.

During her spare time she enjoyed reading, knitting and traveling to their vacation home in Maine where she and her husband enjoyed many good times with their family and friends.

Besides her husband she is survived by her two daughters, Susan Babb of Marshfield and Linda Ryan and her husband Jim of Marlborough and three grandsons David Babb and his wife Jennifer, and Benjamin and Nicholas Ryan.
