Clifford Alan, Clark of Concord, MA, Tuesday, May 12 at 8:30 p.m. died peacefully surrounded by his family at Rivercrest Concord. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Dexter Clark of 63 years, his brother Herbert Randolph Clark, Marshfield, MA, and the late, Rev. David Lang Clark, and three children - Deborah Clark Davis (JR), Unadilla, NY, Pamela Clark Cochrane (Kenneth), Harvard, MA and Gregory Randolph Dexter Clark (Sara), Carlisle, MA and eight beloved grandchildren; Matthew, Jessica and Chester Davis, Sarah and Margaret Cochrane, and Zachary, Brodie and Alexander (Ace) Clark.
Cliff was raised in Belmont, MA, graduated Belmont Hill School '48 and Bowdoin College '52, followed by Officers' Candidate School USNR. He saw duty as navigator on the USS MULLANY DD528. In 1960, he joined the private bank Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. retiring after 30 years as Senior Manager in Boston to enjoy his retirement with family and golf on Cape Cod. He was a long time member of St. Anne's in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Lincoln, MA where he served as Treasurer, Concord County Club, Woods Hole Golf Club, Long Table Syndicate, Founder and Managing Trustee Denison Foundation and Trustee for the BBH Mutual Funds.
A private service will be held at the Memorial Garden at St. Anne's-in-the-Fields.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to contribute in Cliff's memory to support efforts to combat and cure Parkinson's Disease
