David Blake McKnight, Jr. age 57 of Lincoln passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence. He was the son of the late Tom and Eleanor Jean (Fee) McKnight.
Born on June 12, 1963 in Concord, Massachusetts, he was raised and educated in Lincoln where he graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury High School.
In his early years Dave worked for the family business McKnight's Nursery and most recently at Stonegate Gardens. He also worked in the facilities department at Bentley University in Waltham and also for the Department of Public Works in Lincoln.
Dave was a kind, generous and friendly person to all who knew him, he enjoyed riding his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Richard McKnight of Lincoln, his sisters, Deborah Stacey and James Hawkins of New Ipswich, NH, Donna McKnight-Iwany and husband Robert of Bedford, Diane Olsen and husband Edward of Waltham as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends and family will gather to honor and remember Dave on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap St., Concord. To ensure everyone's safety, all those attending will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. A private family graveside service will be held at Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln.
