Deborah S. Pease,age 70 of Boston, formerly of New York City, on August 12th, 2014 following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Roland F. and Polly (Saltonstall) Pease.
Deborah wrote Real Life, a novel, plus a number of collections of poetry. She was the publisher of The Paris Review from 1982-1992, and a supporter of A Public Space, Poets House and Poetry Society of America among other literary organizations.
She is survived by her loving brother Roland, and his wife Lori, niece Marianna, and nephew Nathaniel, and her Aunt Sally Willis and her husband Dudley, and numerous cousins and many loving friends.
