Eeva-Liisa Aulikki Olsen

Eeva-Liisa Aulikki Olsen, 84, of Zionsville, IN formerly a long-time resident of Lincoln, passed away on Monday March 2, 2009. She was the wife of Kenneth Olsen.

Born on September 1, 1924 in Lahti, Finland, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Juho and Hilja Valve.

Mrs. Olsen was a member of the Lotta Svaard, the womens auxiliary of the Finnish Army in the Winter War of 1939. She attended Valparaiso University as an exchange student after World War II. Upon her marriage to Kenneth she immigrated to the United States.

Mrs. Olsen was a resident of Lincoln for 40 years before moving to Zionsville, IN.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son James Olsen of Concord, one daughter, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son Glenn Olsen.
