Eleanor Locke Donaldson

August 22, 1914 — November 6, 2014

Eleanor Locke Donaldson of Concord and former longtime resident of Concord passed away on Thursday, November 6th at age 100. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm L. Donaldson. Devoted mother of R. Douglas Donaldson and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Needham, and Malcolm L. Donaldson, Jr., and his wife, Nancy, of Beverly. Predeceased by her third son Alan L. Donaldson of Lincoln. Also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Eleanor graduated from Syracuse University in 1936, where she was active in student body government and a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She held numerous positions at The First Parish in Lincoln, including Sunday School superintendent, Clerk of the Parish Committee, Church Historian and a forty-year choir member. She was also active for many years with the Lincoln Bell Ringers and the Lincoln Garden Club and enjoyed flower gardening, tennis and golf, travel, classical music, genealogy and religious studies.

Memorial Service will be:
Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:00p.m.
First Parish in Lincoln
