Elizabeth J. Blackmun

Elizabeth J. Blackmun, 89, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully at home Nov. 20, 2008 in Suffern, NY. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she and her husband were Barrington residents from 1963 to 2002. After attending the University of Michigan and art school in Cleveland, she married Wayne Blackmun in 1945 in Ohio and raised four children who graduated from Barrington High School. She attended St. John's Episcopal Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister and a brother.

Survived by children (spouses): Susan "Sunny" (Charles) Kolb of Greeley, CO; Jeanne (Kevin) Berry of Suffern, NY; Diane (Robert) Pagano of Sudbury, MA; David (Pamela) Blackmun of Amesbury, MA. Also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister, brother, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
