Erica Kate Leafquist

Erica Kate Leafquist age 14 of Westford formerly of Acton passed away on Saturday, December 7th at Children's Hospital in Boston following a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was the loving and cherished daughter of Eric C. and Katherine (Lyle) Leafquist.

Born in Concord on April 9, 1999 she lived in Acton before moving to Westford.

Erica enjoyed art, she spent many hours painting, drawing as well as visiting various art studios and museums. Her love and passion for art was admired by all who knew her.

In 2004 Erica was diagnosed with Leukemia and during her treatment she immediately became involved in the Jimmy Fund and the support programs offered. She was an inspiration to all who were blessed to have known her. Her smile, laugh and kind demeanor where both admired and loved by many.

Besides her parents she is survived by her devoted grandparents, Seaforth and Joan Lyle of Naples, Florida and Alma Leafquist of Wakefield as well as many caring and cherished friends. She was also the granddaughter of the late Herbert Leafquist.
