Gina Marie Scarano, age 52, of Concord and Wilmington, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 15, 1957, in Winchester, MA, Gina was the beloved daughter of Robert R. and the late Jean R. (MacInnis) Scarano of Wilmington. Gina grew up in Wilmington and has lived in Concord for over 15 years. Gina was a devout Catholic and a very active communicant of Holy Family Parish in Concord where she sang in the choir. Gina will be remembered as a person who developed very close relationships with her family and friends, she was very independent, a good bowler, and a very talented and accomplished artist. Gina had a great smile and a very outgoing personality, she was warm and welcoming and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Gina was the loving sister of Deborah A. Baier & her husband John of Hampton Falls, NH, Robert G. Scarano & his wife Cindi of Tewksbury, and Frances C. Bernard & her husband Edward of Wilmington, loving aunt of Jay Baier, Alexa Baier, Carley Scarano and Katelyn Scarano, Gina is also survived by her extended families and staff at Minuteman Arc and Holy Family Parish in Concord.
