Gloria F. Daniels

Gloria Mae (Fatzinger) Daniels, age 71 of Concord passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. She was the wife of the late Rodger L. Daniels.

Born in Bethlehem, PA on July 4, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Ira J. and Carrie M. (Frey) Fatzinger. Raised and educated in Bethlehem, Mrs. Daniels attended and graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing with a degree in Nursing.

Mrs. Daniels married and moved to Concord where she was employed for 29 years as a Registered Nurse for Emerson Hospital. During this time, Mrs. Daniels rose to the level of Director of Clinical Nursing Services and was instrumental in the establishment of the Intensive Care Unit.

Mrs. Daniels enjoyed reading, traveling, volunteering and spending time with her extended family. She was an active member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord.

She is survived by her sister Rose M. Kuser of New Berlinville, PA, a niece Alison M. Moyer (Michael J.) of Boyertown, PA and a nephew Eric C. Kuser (Jennifer C.) of Hingham, MA. She is also survived by two grandnephews, Ryan and Alex, and a grandniece, Lindsay.
