Gordon Ryerson Williams

Gordon Ryerson Williams Jr. age 71 of Wayland. Feb. 17, 2012; Loving Husband of Tobey (Churchill) Williams; Father of Nancy Chaffee and her husband Mark Chaffee of RI. and Gordon R. Williams III of Vermont. Also survived by his grandchildren Tyler Chaffee and Emma Chaffee.
Gordon always valued his family as the most important part of his life.

He was a graduate of Brown University, Class of 1963 with a degree in International Relations, and he received a Master's Degree in Trust Law from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He has remained active in Brown Alumni Activities and was Treasurer of his Class.

Holding a career in trust banking for 19 ½ years; he then started his own company in 1987, Guardian Trust, Inc. of Concord, MA as a private fiduciary and investment manager.

Gordon was an avid fly fisherman, holding memberships in The Lake Mansfield Trout Club, Stowe, VT, The Mirimichi Renous Club in Blackville, New Brunswick, and Flycasters. He had also been a member of Rotary International in Concord. He was a former Trustee of The Fenn School in Concord.
