Bare, Helen (Sundquist), age 101 of Peabody, formerly of Lincoln, August 20, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Bruce Bare for 51 years. Loving mother to daughter Dayle Goddard and her husband Ed of Ridgewood, NJ, son Wayne Peterson and his wife Joanne of West Gloucester, Patricia Mandell of Pembroke, Bruce Bare and his wife Mitzi of Maynard, and Carey Bare and his wife Janet of Los Alamos, NM. Loving grandmother to Sharon Goddard White and her husband David of Cambridge, MA, David Goddard of Los Angeles, CA, Elizabeth Long and her husband Brett of Riverside, CT, Lee-Ann Willwerth and her husband Tom of Manchester, MA, Kimberly Gendron and her husband Ron of Manchester, MA, Sean Manchester and his wife Isabel of San Francisco, CA, Sara Eva and her husband Harry of Pembroke, MA, Molly Manchester of Maynard, MA, Melissa Steelman and her husband Bill of Santa Monica, CA, Heather Augst and her husband Bobby of San Diego, CA, Lucas Bare of Santa Barbara, CA, and Hallie Bare of Los Alamos, NM, and to 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services, Thursday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne's in-the-Fields Church, 147 Concord Rd. (Rte 126), Lincoln. Gifts in her name may be made to St. Anne's in-the-Fields, Lincoln, MA 01773. Graduate of the Waltham public schools and the Framingham Normal School (now Framingham State College). Teacher in Waltham and Concord schools, managed a doctor's office in Newton, MA for many years, active for many years in theatre companies in Concord, Lexington, and Lincoln, talented painter and sculptor, and active in lay worship at St. Anne's in-the-Fields Church.
