Helen Barbara (Hickey) Wade

Helen Barbara Wade, of 100 Newbury Court, Concord died Thursday, February 1st at the Rivercrest Rehabilitation Center in Concord. She was born April 3, 1931 in Boston MA to John Joseph Hickey and Helen Josephine Trainor Hickey. Mrs Wade graduated from the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and the second class of Boston College School of Nursing in 1953. She married the late Dr. Philip Barry Wade, MD in Cambridge, MA on January 21, 1956. She was the retired head nurse at Boston City Hospital. Mrs. Wade was a proud member of the Ladies Guild of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Quaker Hill, CT and volunteered as a reading tutor at the Quaker Hill Elementary School in CT. Mrs. Wade is survived by four sons and their spouses: Dr. Peter and Joyce Wade of Farmington CT, James Wade and Alisa Rock of Baltimore MD, Drs. John Wade and Maria Saccoccio of Cranston RI, Daniel Wade and Rosalie Van Schaick of Boulder CO, and one daughter; Ann Iandiorio of Acton, late Terrell Iandiorio ,and 7 grandchildren; Lisa, Timothy, Rachel, Conor and Aidan Wade and Mason and Ellery Iandiorio.
Memorial Service will be held at Duvall Chapel at Newbury Court, 80 Deaconess Rd. Concord on Saturday, February 10th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
