Irma E. (Antonangeli) Florio

Irma E. (Antonangeli) Florio, age 87, of Stow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Attorney Louis A. Florio, the daughter of the late Pietro and Agostina (Pecce) Antonangeli, sister of the late Pietro Antonangeli and aunt of the late Robert Snay.

Irma was born at home in Concord and graduated from Concord High School. She graduated from Fitchburg Teacher's College and earned a Masters in Education from Boston University. Irma was a long time resident of Stow and faithful member of St. Isidore Parish.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Cara Florio, of Concord; her nephews Louis Snay and his daughter Jennifer; Jay Antonangeli, his wife Meg and their son Jack; Paul Antonangeli and his daughter Mackenna; great nephews Mark and Christopher Snay; and her niece Lisa (Antonangeli) Theoharidis, her husband Peter and their children Nicholas, Leah and Peter.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Irma on Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap Street, Concord. Her funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
