Irving Robert “Bob” Miller, 79, of Woburn, Massachusetts, passed away on September 14, 2024. He had been the loving and devoted husband of Nancy A. Miller for the past 36 years.

Bob was born on March 24, 1945, in Dover, New Jersey, the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Denike) Miller.

Bob was a United States Marine Corps Sergeant, proudly serving two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. Bob embodied the Marine spirit his entire life. One of integrity, honor, loyalty, strength of character, and most of all courage. After his honorable discharge from serving his country, Bob began working for ExxonMobil in Boston, Massachusetts, where he maintained the manufacturing equipment for many years. Bob enjoyed tending to his yard, embraced those he loved passionately, and devoted his life to his family. His family was truly everything to him.

In addition to Bob’s wife Nancy, he is survived by his children Lisa Keegan and her husband Thomas of Wakefield, MA; Scott Miller and his wife Amanda of Somersworth, NH; Scott Jenney and his fiancé Sarah of Carlisle, MA; his grandchildren Kristina Gillis and her husband Shawn, Sean Reid, Alycia Bickford and her husband Pete, Nick Miller and his wife Gabrielle, Caroline Jenney, and Noelle Jenney; great-grandchildren Jacob Bickford, Marlee Bickford, Maxwell Gillis, James Gillis; and his siblings Peggy Byron and her husband Floyd of Michigan, Wayne Miller and his wife Mary of Michigan, and Charles Hanke of Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his parents and his two sons, Michael Miller and Ronald Miller. 

Family and friends will gather on Monday, September 23, 2024, for a period of visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap St., Concord, MA. Burial will follow with U.S. Marine military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery, Acton, MA.
