James A. Keith

November 4, 1943 — February 9, 2015

James A. Keith age 71 of Concord, MA passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Nancy M. Keith. He was the son of the late Albert F. and Elizabeth (Smith) Keith.

Jim was raised in Sandwich graduating from Sandwich High School in 1961. In 1965 he graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute earning a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. He and Nancy married in 1972 and settled in Concord.

He had a successful career in the field of software engineering and was president of his own software consulting firm, Concord Microsystems, Inc.

Jim was known for his quick wit and loved to say a one liner which always made people laugh. He was able to repair and cleverly fix things inside and outside the home. He also loved the ocean and spent forty summers vacationing with the Morgan family on Indian Point in Georgetown, Maine.

Along with his wife he is survived by his loving children Amy Burke and husband Henry of York, Maine and David Keith and wife Sumitra of Bangkok, Thailand. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren James and Everett Burke and Summer and Calvin Keith, his brothers Harold Keith of Nevada and Gary Keith and wife Lia of Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Patricia (Keith) Wood.

A celebration of his life will be held at:
Trinitarian Congregational Church
