Jean Althea DiRuzzo

Jean Althea (Strong) DiRuzzo age 85 of Concord passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Life Care Center of Acton, she was the wife of the late John B. DiRuzzo.

Born in Northampton, MA on November 13, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elna Strong. Jean attended high school graduating in 1949.

On July 15, 1951 she married and soon settled in Concord. She was a faithful member of the West Concord Union Church where she was a choir member for over 60 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends reading, writing to pen pals and summering in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. During her retirement she especially enjoyed meeting with local friends for coffee.

She is survived by her daughter Karen A. Callahan and her husband Michael, her granddaughter Megan E. Dodge and her husband Kevin and her great-grandchildren, Cameron Michael Dodge and Lydia Jean Dodge all of Georgetown.

A memorial service will be:
