Jeffrey W. Como

Jeffrey W. Como, Sr. age 57 of Concord formerly of Stow and Waltham passed away on December 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Cambridge on March 4, 1962 he was the son of Ronald Como and the late Joyce Drobot Como. Jeffrey enlisted in the United States Marines and upon his return home he married, started a family then, attended Mass Bay Community College studying Business Administration where he made the Dean's list.

Jeffrey worked for many years as a talented commercial and residential painter. He was meticulous and his attention-to-detail were always a priority; however Jeffrey's true love was his family and fishing. Jeffrey took his children and grandchildren fishing regularly, he was often found on the shoreline of a lake or pond fishing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. He also enjoyed metal detecting, board games, playing basketball and had a strong and true Christian faith.

He is survived by his loving children Jeffrey W. Como, Jr., and his partner Mikaila of Barton, VT, Tracy Bowe and her husband Matt of Concord and Andrew Como and his wife Andrea of East Hampstead, NH, his cherished grandchildren Jeffrey W. Como, III, Matthew Bowe, Jr., Ryan Como, James Bowe and Maddison Como, his brother Ron Como, sister, Beverly Como, former wife Kelly Como and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Renee Como.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Jeffrey on Tuesday, December 17 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap St., Concord. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
