John Robert Bonner

John Robert Bonner, age 73, of Concord passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland.
Born in Boston on October 4, 1938 he was the son of the late John and Marian Esther (Pickard) Bonner.
Raised and educated in Arlington, he graduated from Arlington High School and New Preparatory School. He also attended Tufts University and served in the United States Army Reserves.
Mr. Bonner settled in Concord with his family in 1968 and was the President and owner for many years of Bonner & Puritan Co., Inc., a wholesale heating company in Cambridge.
During his spare time and retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in Maine and Cape Cod as well as hunting, fishing, baseball and ice hockey.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Bonner Haines and her husband Daniel H. Haines of Concord, his son John Robert Bonner, Jr. of Newton, brothers William of Beverly and Bruce of Dennis, his grandchildren Daniel W. and Alexandra J. Haines of Concord as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in the Concord Funeral Home will be private.
