Kenneth G. Kelley

Kenneth G. Kelley passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on March 5, 2021 surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Kenneth (Ken) was described by friends and family as incredibly friendly, full of humor, and everyone's biggest cheerleader. Ken embraced his role as a girl dad, attending his daughters' soccer games, school plays, and watching teen dramas and romantic comedies. Ken was a lover of all things sports, followed all Boston teams, the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts and more recently Concord Carlisle youth hockey and the East Coast Wizards. He enjoyed nothing more than reading the newspaper, enjoying a cup of coffee, playing golf, trips to Newport and Nantucket, taking long daily walks, discussing crime thrillers with his daughters and watching his grandchildren play youth sports. Ken loved the beach, but not the sand, staying in a hotel, but not the travel, loved the Late Late Show with James Corden but not late nights. Ken wanted to be invited to any and all gatherings and was the first person on the dance floor at every wedding. As his friends always say "to know Ken was to love Ken." To say he'll be missed by all who knew him is an understatement.
Ken attended Brookline High School, Ohio State University, University of Massachusetts Boston and received his MBA from Suffolk University. After receiving his MBA he went on to a career in health care administration despite his dislike of hospital settings. Ken retired in June of 2020 to spend more time with his family.
In addition to his wife Patricia Stearns Kelley of 44 years, Kenneth is survived by daughters Allyson (and son-in-law Tucker) and Kate (and son-in-law Joey) of Carlisle, MA; grandchildren Turner and Olivia Bailey, and Benjamin and William Brooks; brothers Kevin and Keith Kelley and sister Karen Kelley as well as dear in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Doyle Kelley.
A celebration of Ken's life will be scheduled for later this year.
