Leonard Johnson

Leonard Johnson age 93 of Sudbury and formerly of Watertown and Dennis, MA passed away peacefully Aug. 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the widower of Ruth Annie Bell Johnson.

Leonard was born in Nordin, New Brunswick, CA, on October 13, 1923 the son of the late John and Matilda Jane (Smith) Johnson. He was the devoted father of Linda Revell Consoletti and her husband Daniel of Sudbury and Bettyann Andrews and her husband Paul of Pembroke, NH. Cherished grandfather of Justin Paul Revell of Framingham, Faye Victoria Andrews of Boston and John Wesley Andrews of Yokohama, Japan.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening and creating landscapes and he enjoyed making birdhouses. Leonard was a loyal and dedicated Red Sox, Patriots and Giants fan. Leonard was extremely active in and dedicated to the Masonic Fraternity and he had obtained his 33rd degree in Masonry. At the time of his passing, he was the oldest living Sovereign Prince of the Scottish Rite in Massachusetts. He was a proud WWII veteran serving with the U.S. Navy.

Visiting hours will be Friday, August 11 from 10:00 to 11:30am in the Concord Funeral Home. A Masonic service will follow at 11:30 with Brothers from area Masonic Lodges in attendance. Leonards funeral will be at 12:00 pm

Interment will be in the family lot in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury.
