Linda Ann Christofferson Morris

Linda (Christofferson) Morris age 73 of Acton died Friday October 3, 2014 at Emerson Hospital.

Born on December 11, 1939 to the late Carl and Jessie (Ferguson) Christofferson, joining sister Joan (Christofferson) Johnson at their Acton Center home. A lifetime Actonian*, she spent childhood summers working on the family farm, graduated from Acton High School, and went on to a successful career in real estate before retiring.

Among her many friends, Linda also leaves behind two children, Mindy (Morris) Jenkins of Acton, and Scott with his wife Jennifer Morris of Telford PA. Both of whom loved her not only as their mother, but also their best friend.

Linda touched many with her special brand of love, not the least of which her 8 grandchildren: Taylor Jenkins Reid and her husband Alex, Jake Jenkins, Cody Morris, Cameron Morris, Ethan Morris, Gracie Morris, Abygail Morris and Aiden Morris, each of whom were the lights in her life, and she theirs. Not necessarily the most adept quilter, she did not let that stop her! Each year, for Christmas, one of her grandchildren would receive a "Grammy Blanket" made especially for them, as well as the special gift that the quilt inspired.

Linda's generosity of spirit, laughter, and wisdom knew no limits. She was always genuinely interested in and cared for everyone and anyone who she met throughout her journey. She loved cooking, boating, gardening, and always enjoyed a lively debate on the issues of the day.
