Marcella (Arsenault) Scriven, 79, of Newburyport formerly of North Reading, MA passed peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and hospice caretakers.
Born in Westbrook, Maine on January 8, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Jacqueline (Gregere) Hebert.
Marcella lived a fulfilling life bringing joy to many people with her jokes, comments and anecdotes. Her stories and gentle smile were shared and will be missed by all who knew and adored her.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, eating lobster, playing cards and taking many rides with her beloved companion, John.
She is survived by her four children, Jackye Cullen of Hampstead, NH, David Arsenault and his partner Karen Fritsch of Goffstown, NH, Dana Arsenault and his wife Susan of Londonderry, NH and Daryl Arsenault and his partner David Nelson of East Hampstead, NH. Marcella is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses, Aaron Arsenault of Lunenburg, MA, Derek and Kayla Arsenault of Great Falls, Montana, Cory Arsenault of Londonderry, NH, AJ Cullen of Bonita Springs, FL and Dana Fritsch of Manchester, NH. Recently, she became the proud Great Grandmother of Tristan Arsenault of Great Falls Montana.
