Margaret Alexy Rose

Margaret "Peggy" Alexi Rose age 84 of Sudbury passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 16, 2022.

 

Margaret Alexy was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 26, 1938 a daughter to the late John and Elizabeth (Kucsara) Alexy. She was the oldest of nine children and was raised on the West Side of Cleveland and graduated as Valedictorian from West Tech High School. She later attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathmatics.

 

Peggy as she was known to family and friends, married Fred Rose in 1960 and eventually settled in Sudbury in 1966. Peggy worked at M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington for many years as a programmer analyst.

 

She is survived by her husband Fred, son Jonathan and daughter in-law Xiaohong of California, son Daniel of New York City, her grandchildren Aja and Lucas and several, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
