Marion Fowler Rasmussen

Marion Fowler Rasmussen age 96 recently of Concord, died peacefully at home on Christmas Day, 2014. She was the wife of the late Wayne D. Rasmussen, who died in 2004 at age 89.

Born on September 1, 1918 in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Navisey) Fowler.

Marion and Wayne moved to Concord in 1997. Previously they lived in Annandale, VA where Wayne served as historian at the US Dept. of Agriculture.

An avid reader and Patriots fan, Marion was beloved for her graciousness, intelligence, warm demeanor, and love of humor.

She is survived by her children Linda LaTores and partner Joel Wendt of Paxton, Karen Stone and husband Michael Waddell of Marshfield, and Paul Rasmussen and wife Evelyn of Scottsdale AZ, as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather for Marion's life celebration on Monday, Dec. 29th from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap St., Concord. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm St., Concord. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
