Martha Prouty DeNormandie

Martha Prouty DeNormandie,age 87 died peacefully at home on February 25, 2010 in Lincoln, MA. Born May 14, 1922 in Spencer, MA, she graduated from Bancroft School in Worcester and Wheelock College in Boston. She has been a resident of Lincoln for 67 years. Her love for her family and community, passion for justice, and warmth and generosity of spirit will be with us always. She was predeceased by her husband, Senator James DeNormandie, and her son, Newton Prouty DeNormandie. She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses, Robert and Eliana, Alice and Surendra Shah, Philip and Tina, Tom and Penny, Kate and Kevin McCarey, Vic and Carl LoChiatto; 14 grandchildren, Laura (Greg), James (Natalie), Rajen, Serena, Philip, Jack, Sam, Cole, Katherine, Elizabeth, Hannah, Caitlin, Fiona, James; and 2 great-grandchildren, Law and Celia.
