Mary J. Simons Aldrich

Mary J. (Simons) Aldrich age 83 of Westford formerly of West Concord passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Emerson Hospital. She was the wife of the late Mark C. Aldrich.

Born, raised and educated in Arlington she was the daughter of Alouis G. and Josephine (Erskine) Stahl. Mary graduated from Arlington High School and later attended Suffolk University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Mary moved to Concord in 1972 and opened the Totspot Child Care Service from her residence where she cared for many children over the years until her retirement in 1998. Mary was a member of the West Concord Union Church and also Concord Council on Aging and Concord Chorus and she also enjoyed travel, singing and reading.

She is survived by her children Deborah L. Warshafsky and husband Martin of Glen, NH, David C. Simons and wife Marian of Billerica, Stephen A. Simons and wife Geraldine of Westford and Keith E. Simons and wife Cheryl of Westford, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her brothers Paul R. and Richard E. Stahl predeceased her.
