Myra Helen McCoy

February 23, 1927 — March 19, 2021

Myra McCoy, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on March 19th at CareOne Concord. She was 94. Beloved mother of Joseph (Ann Marie Gagne) of Bonita Springs, FL, Sandra Conrad (Peter) of Concord, and Nancy McCoy of Cambridge. She is also survived by grandchildren Rebecca Jones (Timothy) and Perry Conrad.

A retired employee of Harvard University, she was for more than thirty years the co-director of the Old West Church Meals Program and a volunteer at the Harvard
Square Churches Meals Program at Christ Church. She was also active in the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers and supported its work in retirement.

Born in Boston, and a longtime Cambridge resident, Myra loved the "People's Republic" of 02138 and enjoyed her spirited fellow choristers at the Senior Center. Brought up in Christ Church, she was a member of St Peter's Episcopal Church and in recent years found friendship and community at Trinity Episcopal Church, Concord, MA.

The family wishes to thank the caring and dedicated staff at CareOne Concord.
