Natalie A. Hill passed away on February 12, 2020, in her home in Malden, Mass.
Natalie was born in Winchester, Mass., on January 27, 1967, the daughter of Jacqueline V. Wool of Concord, Mass., and the late Robert G. Hill. She was the step-daughter of the late Sheldon M. Wool. Natalie graduated from Winchester High School in 1985, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1989, and was awarded her Master of Social Work degree from Boston University in 1998. She gave her heart and soul to her career as a social worker, including most recently at Harbor Health Service Plan, where she loved working with seniors in the Boston area. A warm and loving friend, Natalie devoted her life to nurturing her friendships with people from all phases of her life, from her youth growing up in Winchester, through college and graduate school and her professional career. She was a lover of travel around the country and around the world, which she used as opportunities to reconnect with old friends and discover new ones. She took a break from her social work career to spend a year working as an English teacher in Indonesia.
Natalie adored her three nieces--Sophie HIll, Althea Hill, and Lucy Hill--the daughters of her brother Christopher R. Hill and her sister-in-law, Susan R. Flicop, of Chestnut Hill.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Natalie on Saturday, March 7, at 2 pm, at the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap St, Concord, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Natalie's love for animals to MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130 or to the charity of your choice.
