Patrick D. Summerlin

Patrick D. Summerlin, age 53 of Woburn, formerly of Billerica, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2009. He was the son of Elinor G. (Comey) Baglio of Billerica and the late Jack D. Summerlin.
Patrick was born in Newport, VA on April 19, 1955. He and his family moved to Billerica, MA, in 1967, where he went on to attend Shawsheen Valley Technical High School and Billerica Memorial High School, graduating in 1973. Patrick then graduated from the Bennett School in Boston, MA, majoring in drafting and carpentry. He also worked at various companies in Billerica, Lowell and Burlington for many years.
Patrick also proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1975 as a transportation specialist. He served in the 5th Battalion, 6th ADA, Headquarters Company, in Neubreke, Germany.
He enjoyed the ocean, boating, reading on a variety of topics, writing poetry, family genealogy, visiting historical sites, and Harley Davidsons, to name a few. He liked to spend time with family and friends. Patrick was many things to many people, and loved by all who knew him.
Besides his mother he is survived by his companion Dianne Sheppard of Gardner, his siblings, Gary Summerlin of Billerica, Lisa Moran of Greenfield, Michael Baglio of West Stewartstown, NH, and Paul Baglio of Billerica as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Beth Summerlin and stepson of the late John Baglio.
