Pauline Davis Wingate, age 81 of Concord, formerly of Acton, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Emerson Hospital.�She was the wife of the late Sidney A. Wingate.
Born in Boston on August 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Smith) Fuller.
Raised and educated in Dedham, Mrs. Wingate resided in several locations, including Chicago, Plainville, and, for many years, Acton, before settling in Concord.
Mrs. Wingate was an avid Sheep Dog admirer.�She was a devoted and enthusiastic member of the New England Old English Sheep Dog Club and, after 25 years of dedicated membership, became the only person to be named an "Honorary Member."�She was also a member of the Old English Sheep Dog Club of America, where she served on the Board of Directors and was also the Treasurer.�Mrs. Wingate was well-respected and was known for owning and showing many top champions.
Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.�She was a caring and generous mother and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Nancy J. Malott of Marietta, GA, Mike Davis of Billerica, Paula Fiore of Wayland, Susan Everson of Monument, CO, and Jeffrey Davis of Longmont, CO.�She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.�She was the mother of the late Richard Davis and sister of the late Robert and Herbert Fuller.
