Pietro J. Antonangeli

Pietro J. Antonangeli, age 77, a lifelong resident of Concord, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Judith A. (Wilson) Antonangeli.

Born in Concord on November 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Pietro and Agostina (Pecce) Antonangeli who were both Italian immigrants.

Raised in educated in Concord, Mr. Antonangeli was graduated from Concord High School and later attended and was graduated from Bryant and Stratton College.

In 1951 Mr. Antonangeli enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany as a Ready Reserve during the Korean Conflict. Upon his honorable discharge in 1953 Pietro returned home to Concord where he and his wife raised their three children.

During this time Pietro worked as a public relations and event coordinator for Middlesex Insurance Company (later Sentry Insurance) in Concord. He was well known for his ability to organize a public function for many occasions. He was also a longtime member of St. Bernard's Church and the Concord Elks.

Pietro loved gardening and took great pride in maintaining his lawn. He was a common sight along the streets of Concord where he took his daily walks.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Theoharidis and her husband Peter of Centerville, James Antonangeli and his wife Meghan of Lancaster, and Paul Antonangeli and his wife Debra of Concord, and his grandchildren Nicholas, Leah, Peter, and John Pietro. He was the brother of Irma E. Florio of Stow and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
