Regener (Wells) Jones

Regener (Wells) Jones. Age 85 of Concord passed away on Friday December 24, 2010 at Emerson Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edward W. Jones, Sr.

Born in Trappe, Maryland on March 5, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Lula (McDaniel) Wells.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Moton High School and then Morgan State Teachers College (now Morgan State University). She began her teaching career in Easton, MD in home economics. Later she taught in Camden, NJ, before becoming an elementary teacher in Philadelphia, PA. She taught in Concord, MA, over 20 years before retiring.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Marilyn Jones Poston of Cincinnati, OH, Regina Jones of Boston, Muriel Jones of CA and Wesley Jones of Venice, CA. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Kem and Liana Poston, her cherished sisters Miriam Brooks of Trappe, MD. and Sarah Coleman, of Media, PA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was also the sister of the late Nathaniel, Arthur, Olden and John Wells.
