Rhonda Frances Gardella

Rhonda Frances Gardella, age 53 of Beverly, formerly of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her family following a brief illness.�She was the daughter of Frances (Bartlett) Gardella of Concord and the late Ronald F. Gardella.

Raised and educated in Concord, Rhonda was graduated in 1971 from Concord-Carlisle High School. She later attended and was graduated from the New York School of Interior Design located in New York City.�During her career in retail Rhonda lived and worked for 5 years in Rio DeJaneiro, Brazil, before moving back to Boston, where she was employed with Bed Bath & Beyond in management training.

During her spare time she enjoyed extensive travel throughout South America and Europe.�She was also an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and decorating.

Besides her mother she is survived by her brother John Gardella of Concord and her sister Sherrill Harris of Manchester, NH, a nephew Sam Gardella of Durham, SC, and the late Anson Harris, and her nieces Holly Harris of S. Hadley, Dorie Mansen of Hudson, and Maggie Gardella of San Mateo, CA. She was also the godmother of Oscar Hawkes of Beverly. She leaves many close friends and her beloved felines Sam and Tretinha.
