Robert A. Parker

Robert Allen Parker, age 92, a lifelong resident of Concord, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Isnor) Parker and the son of the late Alden and Edith (McWilliams) Parker.

Robert graduated from Concord High School with the Class of 1954 and soon enlisted with the United States Army, where he proudly served his country. Robert and Marjorie married on September 15, 1956, and remained in Concord, where they raised their family together.

Robert worked for Tombeno Bros. for many years and also worked evenings with the West Concord Union Church, where he and Marjorie were longtime members. He later became Head of Maintenance for the Bedford Public Schools, a position he held until his retirement. Robert also devoted his time to the Concord Youth Hockey Program, where he coached generations of young athletes.

He was a member of the Concord Lodge of Elks and the Concord Rod and Gun Club. Robert was also honored by his alma mater with induction into the Concord High School Football Hall of Fame (1951 Piedmont Bowl Championship).

Robert is survived by his loving children, Beth Ann Evans, Susan Marie Parker, and Allen Robert Parker, all of Concord, Massachusetts. He also leaves his grandsons, Derek (Adriana) Reguera of Wilmington, Massachusetts; Brian (Kristi) McAnulty of Rutledge, Tennessee; and Tim (Casey) Parker of Hudson, New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his beloved granddaughter, Sharon Michelle McAnulty, and great-granddaughter Harlow Marjorie. He also leaves his cherished great-grandchildren, Grace, Hannah, and Cameron McAnulty; Grant, Brian, and Charles McAnulty; Madison and Hailey Reguera; and Beau and Effie Parker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.

Among Robert’s happiest memories were the many summers spent at York Beach, Maine, especially time at the Nubble Lighthouse and the cookouts shared with family and friends at their home. These memories will remain a treasured part of his family’s lives.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Robert during visiting hours on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap Street, Concord, Massachusetts. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow with U.S. Army Military Honors at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
