Ruth Eisenstein Soybel Esq. Attorney, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, eyes ablaze with plans, possessed of fierce intellect, lover of books, supporter of the arts, fan of parrots, connoisseur of wine, enthusiastic owner of poorly built English sports cars, power shopper, fashionista, and forever beloved of her late husband Bill, her sister Patricia Fertel and brother-in-law Richard Fertel, 6 children: Debra Siegel, David Soybel, Amanda Savage (deceased), Halle Soybel, Jeremy Soybel and Phyllis Soybel; 12 grandchildren and 9 greatgrand-children, two nephews, Daniel and Jonathan Fertel, and three grandnephews.
A woman of indomitable spirit; the Soybel progeny have lost their matriarch. She died as she had lived; in control of her destiny. She was 86.
Funeral services will be streamed live on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 10:30 A.M., with a virtual minyan to follow. at 5:00 P.M. A blessing at the grave will be held later this year, when circumstances permit.
