Sara E. (Woomer) Brehm age 90 of Pittston, PA formerly of Trucksville, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Wesley Village. She was the wife of the late Rev. E. Lee Brehm.
Born in Naticoke, PA on October 28, 1918 she was the daughter of the late LaBar and Sara ( Davis ) Woomer. She was raised and educated in Alden, PA.
Mrs. Brehm was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker for many years. The wife of a Methodist minister, she resided in many different locations in Pennsylvania as well as Oneonta and Unadilla, New York. After retirement, she and her husband built a home in Centermoreland, PA. She later moved to Trucksville Manor Apartments where she was an active member of the Trucksville United Methodist Church. In 2002 she moved to Wesley Village in Pittston.
She was always known for her generosity and welcoming personality. She loved doing crafts, gardening and home decorating.
She is survived by her children, Georgia L. Brehm of Ludlow, VT , Robert L.Brehm of Butler, PA and Sally B. Martin of Chatham, NJ; her grandchildren, David L. Girardo, Beth A.Burlamachi, Kelly Dyan, Scott Brehm, Mary Martin, James Martin; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Caroline Burlamachi and Brian Girardo.
