Theresa (Landry) Silvio, age 99 of Concord died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Emerson Hospital with her loving family gathered by her side. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Silvio Sr.
Born in Watertown on November 3, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary L. (Gingras) Landry.
Mrs. Silvio attended and graduated from St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Watertown and soon married and settled in Concord.
Mrs. Silvio devoted her life to her family where she was loved by all who knew her. During her spare time she enjoyed reading, poetry, collecting sea glass, and enjoying all of the children
She is survived by her children, Salvatore Silvio Jr. of Concord, Diane Krug of Acton and Mary Lou Finan of Littleton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and her sisters, Regina Short of Burlington and Esther Landry of Waltham.
The Silvio family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Emerson Hospital 6th floor who cared for Theresa.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Theresa's life was held on Friday, January 28th in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Interment followed in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
