Thomas Edward Thoresen

Thomas E. Thoresen age 88 of Concord passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Emerson Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Miriam Korhonen and the late Marion D. (Skjold) Thoresen who died in 1982.
Born in Billerica on January 10, 1920 he was the son of the late Thomas and Ruth (Shult) Thoresen. Raised and educated in Concord Mr. Thoresen graduated Concord High School in 1939.
He married in 1941 and they soon settled in Concord.
Mr. Thoresen worked as a Tool & Die maker for United Carr Fastener.
During his spare time he enjoyed with wood & repairing antique clocks.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children Sandra Whitman of Raymond, NH, Linda Specht of Townsend and Richard E. Thoresen of Easthampton, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A sister Esther Lindburg of Framingham, two brothers Robert of Bedford and Paul of FL. And the late Ruth Helen Vettrus.
