Virginia Rae (Adams) Hastings

July 19, 1934 — August 1, 2010

Virginia Rae (Adams) Hastings age 76 of Littleton formerly of Concord passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday, August 1, 2010.

Mrs. Hastings was employed for twenty years as a nurse at the Thoreau Nursing Home in Concord and then a spinal cord nurse for twenty years with the VA Hospital in West Roxbury.

She loved her summers sailing in Pemaquid, Maine (where her father was a physician) and spending time with her loving children, extended family and friends. A devoted Red Sox fan since 1946, she was delighted to live long enough to watch her boys of summer win two World Series.

Mrs. Hastings is survived by her beloved and caring children, Lisa Hastings-Moll and her husband Robert of Chelmsford, Edward R. Hastings IV and his wife Theresa of Maynard and L. Christy Hastings and her partner Eric Coffman of Maynard. Also survived by her sister Cynthia Ross of Hooksett, NH, a niece Heather Ross-Hart and her husband Lou and their daughter Lauren and her nephew Scott P. Ross as well as her grand-dogs Arrow, Boo Radley and Einstein.
