Werner E. Klemmer

Werner E. Klemmer age 86 of Concord formerly of Kennebunk, ME and Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Rivercrest Long-Term Care Facility in Concord. He was the husband of Louise (Martin) Klemmer..

Mr. Klemmer was a Naval ROTC graduate of Brown University, class of 1944 and became a First Lieutenant during World War II. He also served as a councilman for six years in Paramus, NJ and was appointed Bergen County Board of Taxation. He was President and CEO of Horizon Bank in Morristown, NJ.

Besides his wife he is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Klemmer of Pittsburgh, PA and Lynne Klemmer of Lexington. Also survived by his grandchildren, John and Alexandra Vallieres and Tristan and Larsen Husby and a brother Edmund Klemmer of Raleigh, NC.
